2006– 2007 VOLUNTEER CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Volunteers are necessary at every level and Sooke Minor Hockey would not be able to function without

them. BC Hockey and Hockey Canada have set requirements for volunteers, and Sooke Minor Hockey has

adopted them. We rely on many individuals each year to take on various tasks and donate countless hours in

order to ensure our players are safe and their experience is a positive one. Proper training of these

volunteers is vital in order to achieve the goals of the Association. Below is a guideline that outlines the

requirements.

Criteria for players to participate in early ice:

1) Must be registered with SMHA for the upcoming 2006/07 season.
2) Must have all registration fees paid in full and be in good standing with SMHA.

3) Must be dressed in their full hockey gear.
